Buddy Class

Room 26 have been writing short stories during Literacy in class. Their stories were aimed at their Kindy buddies. We discussed what makes a great story for younger children to enjoy, we talked about rhyme and repetition, and key words they need to learn. The students of Room 26 turned their stories into a short story book with illustrations. We shared them with our Room 2 buddies on Monday. They had an amazing time sharing their books, talking about the characters and pictures and colouring in some of the illustrations together. Thank you Mrs Harvey for inviting us into your room to share these wonderful stories. We may have some future authors or illustrators in the making. What a great start to Book Week.
