Learning Journey

I would like to say a big thank you to all the families who came to our Learning Journey today. This was a wonderful opportunity for you to celebrate your child's successes. All the students in Room 26 have worked extremely hard this year and you should be very proud of their achievements. The students enjoyed sharing the work they had completed, both in their books and around the classroom. I hope you enjoyed seeing the work the students have been doing in Year 4, they are certainly kept very busy. Congratulations to those parents who tried our Numero challenge, typing skills and coding. Thank you again for supporting us today and well done to Room 26 for all your efforts.

First Aid

Room 26 took part in some first aid training today. The students spent the first half of the session learning the meaning of DRSAB. They learnt how to check for danger, respond to the victim, send for help, check the airways and breathing, before placing the injured person into the recovery position. They each got to practise these steps after lunch, as part of their training. This information could save a life in the future. Thank you to Gillian for an excellent presentation. We really learnt a lot today.
