School Fete

Wattle Grove School Fete was a huge success. All classes had been working hard for so long to plan and organise their stall and it was definitely worth it. It was great to see staff and students dressed in traditional colonial costumes. This added an extra special touch to the event. The students worked well collaboratively in order to prepare their stall and worked in shifts throughout the afternoon to make a profit.

Room 9 want to say a big thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets and supported our stall. We made a huge $142 profit.

Congratulations to all the winners.

Carter and Carter

Wattle Grove enjoyed an afternoon of music and dancing last week. We were lucky enough to have husband and wife singing duo, Carter and Carter, work with a number of students. They spent the day writing a song, rehearsing it and performing it to the whole school. A number of students from Room 9 were some of the fortunate candidates chosen to write this special song.

It was amazing to hear the fantastic lyrics they had written to create the song 'We can change the World'. I couldn't believe the quality and professionalism of the song written in just 1 day.

Well done to all students who took part and to Miss Robeson who organised this wonderful event.
Wattle Grove now have their own CD with 'We can change the World'.
