Learning Journeys

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the family members who came to support the students of Room 25 yesterday during the Learning Journey. It was great to see so many people attend. The students really enjoyed sharing their work and talking about their learning experiences. I hope you enjoyed your visit and you should all be proud of Year 5. I know that I am.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. See you n Term 4.

Learning journeys

I would like to invite all parents to visit our classroom on Tuesday from 2pm. The classroom will be open for you to view students' work and take part in some activities with your child.  We have been very busy preparing a Science expo based on aspects of light. We hope you enjoy what you see. See you on Tuesday afternoon.

Wizard of Oz

I would like to thank everybody who helped support me with the Production of The Wizard of Oz. I was so proud of all the students who took part. It was great to see students get involved with acting, props, backstage and sound. It was a huge team effort but definitely worth it. Thank you to all the parents for the wonderful costumes.

What's been happening in Room 25?

Wow, what a busy few weeks for Year 5.

Building Bridges

Room 25 took part in a STEM activity. Each group had to design and build a bridge using limited materials. The bridge had to fit across 2 tables measuring 50cm. Each bridge had to hold and support the weight of 5 toy cars.

Wattle Day

At the beginning of the month we celebrated Wattle Day, the first day of Spring. We got together with our Year 1 Buddy class to make Wattle Day flags.

Faction Carnival

The Faction Carnival was another huge success this year. Everybody looked amazing in their team colours and it was wonderful to see everybody take part. There were plenty of winners on the day but it didn't matter if we didn't win. We had a fun day in the beautiful weather. Congratulations to all the winners and to Mr Sherlock and Mrs Oliver for all your hard work and coordination on the day.
