Congratulations to Ava from Room 9 who came second in a Book Cover Competition.
Her design was chosen from hundreds of entries. Students were asked to design a cover related to the 2015 Book Week Theme of 'Books Light Up Our World'.
I was lucky enough to go to see Ava be presented with her prize and award on Friday at the Forrestfield Library.
I was extremely proud of her achievements, so were her parents who came along to the event.
Congratulations to Miss Randall for working hard with the Year 6 students on this project. Wattle Grove received 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for Year 6.
