Wattle Grove Primary School celebrated their 100th Birthday on July 19th 2015. The staff, students and parents enjoyed a special assembly on Friday to mark this occasion. We were entertained by the delightful Junior Choir, congratulations to Mrs Robeson for organising this.
We also had the pleasure of listening to the talented Year 6 Guitar Students.
The assembly ended with the cutting of the 'Wattle Grove Birthday Cake'. It looked amazing in the traditional green and gold colours. One of the school's oldest and youngest members helped cut the cake.
The Year 6 students were lucky enough to try a piece.
We look forward to many more centenary celebrations throughout the year.
