Buddy Book

Room 9 shared an afternoon with their Buddies from Miss Ryan's Kindy class earlier this week.

The Year 5 and 6 students had created books about Space. These were books to share with their buddy, teaching them about colours, shapes, numbers and words.

It was a great experience for Room 9 to write a book, illustrate the pictures and share it with the Kindy children.

Both classes had fun. 

I was very impressed with the quality of the writing and drawings from the students of Room 9. They had worked extremely hard to produce their book. 

They enjoyed playing the role of 'Teacher' for the afternoon.

 The Kindy students were well behaved and answered questions about their book.

We look forward to sharing time with our Buddies in the near future. 

The children got to keep their book to take back to class with them.
