Paper Planes

Room 9 ended Term 2 with a variety of activities based on the movie 'Paper Planes'.

After watching the movie the students tried making their own paper planes. These were then put to the test outside. They took part in a throwing competition to see which type of plane would travel the furthest. 

The distances were measured and compared. 

It was interesting to see which type of plane was the most effective. 

The students also looked at writing film reviews. Everybody had something positive to say about the movie. 

Room 9 wrote instructions of how to make their plane and even had an attempt at making their own 'You Tube' style video.

It was a great way to end the Term. You must watch the movie 'Paper Planes' and don't forget to look out for our teacher, Mrs McIlwraith, who appears briefly towards the end of the movie.
