Lapathon

Students, Parents and Teachers of Wattle Grove took part in Lapathon this afternoon. Luckily the weather changed just at the last minute to allow us to enjoy an afternoon of fundraising. All students demonstrated great enthusiasm and ran many laps around the oval to raise money for new i-Pads for the school.

The students had lots of energy at the beginning of the race and stayed committed throughout.

I managed 3 laps of the oval and felt tired so I am extremely proud of all the students, some even managing 30 laps!

Refreshments were needed half way round.

Everybody kept going right until the end. Half an hour is a long time to keep running.

Some students took over stamping the cards whilst I had a quick jog round!

Congratulations to everyone. Good luck with your sponsor money.

Icy-poles were enjoyed by all.

Let's hope we have raised enough for lots of i-Pads for our school.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and thank you to all those who helped set up for the event.
