What has been going on during the last week of school?

Room 11 have been very busy during the last week of school. They have been using the laptops to research a variety of animals for their report writing in Literacy.

Halle has been working hard at home pretending to be teacher. She has made her own VCOP warm ups which she delivered to the class. Amazing work Halle.

We met again with our Room 9 Buddies to make the wreath for the ANZAC ceremony.

Thank you to all those students who brought flowers in to make the beautiful wreath.

Students have been working hard on Study Ladder and have gained more awards.

Congratulations to Jalen, Jin Ai, Sabbir, Tatiana, Aaryan, Paige and Samo.

The ANZAC ceremony was moving. It was a special time to reflect on the past. Thank you to all the parents who came to support on the day.

The students from Year 5 and 6 read some outstanding letters and poems and the choir sang beautifully.

Well done to Aaryan, Jamie, Halle and Ali who all won a book award for their excellent work and behaviour during Term 1.

I hope you have an enjoyable and relaxing break and see you all in Term 2.

Aaryan's problem of the day

Aaryan, from Room 11, loves Maths. He loves it that much that he wants you to try his problems each week. Aaryan will be creating problems for you to solve. If you have the answer then please see Aaryan to win a lunchie.
Good Luck.

Pizza Making

Room 11 made pizza today as part of our Harmony Day activities. We looked at foods from around the world and where certain ingredients come from. It was fun and educational to make our own healthy pizzas.

The best part of the morning was when we got to taste the final product.

Delicious!
